Index of Economic Freedom - Australia #3

The WSJ and Heritage Foundation just released the 2010 Index of Economic Freedom. Australia was #3 (top 10 below) after HK and Singapore, but ahead of NZ, Ireland, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Denmark and Chile.

Nevertheless the index sub-categories show us how we can do better still. Fiscal and monetary freedom, Government size, and Investment/Financial freedom all have room to improve to achieve best in class.

Still, not too bad.
